The Mission Ministry Team’s focus is to work on behalf of the congregation to support mission opportunities (local and abroad).
Our main activities are :
- Coordinate annual special offerings (Christmas Joy and One Great Hour of Sharing)
- Provide speakers for the pre-Thanksgiving dinner
- Coordinate the Pumpkin Patch
- Support for Haiti mission trips
- Work with Churches In Action (local mission projects)
- Christmas Angel tree (provides gifts for Hamburg families in need)
- Review and implementation for local and regional mission disbursements from Hamburg Presbyterian Church
- Coordinate collections for Hygiene Kits (Friends of Night People) and Sandwich Sunday (St. Luke’s Mission of Mercy)
